Indiana University and Purdue University Alumni, fans, athletic administrators, former players and coaches meet for a friendly and spirited luncheon to celebrate the historic Old Oaken Bucket college football game and raise money for the Heads Up football training and coaching in partnership with USA Football. A portion of the proceeds has also gone to the Purdue and IU scholarship funds.
Each year there is a featured speaker representing each University. Some of the past speakers have included, Bill Mallory, Rosevelt Colvin, Adewale Ogunleye, Leroy Keyes, Anthony Thompson, Morgan Burke, Fred Glass, Joe McConnell, Don Fischer, Pete Quinn, George Taliaferro, Chris Dittoe, Stuart Schweigert, Mark Herrmann, Mark Deal, Calvin Williams, Bill Lynch, Floyd Keith, Seth Morales and Kywin Supernaw.
The luncheon takes place at the downtown Columbia Club (121 Monument Circle
Indianapolis, IN 46204). The event is open to the public. Individual tickets are $45 and can be purchased online using the button above. There are sponsorship tables available.
The cost to sponsor a table is $600 and includes ten (10) luncheon reservations, priority seating, five (5) valet parking passes and event recognition (website, on-site signage, PA, video). Valet passes can be collected at the check-in desk - 10th floor lobby. Bring your valet ticket to the table and present for a voucher. Parking is available at the valet outside the Club and there are many parking garages close to the Club. Circle Centre Mall garage on Washington Street is $3 for up to three hours. It is one block south of Monument Circle.
The event is located on the 10th floor ballroom.
There is a cash bar before and after the event on the 10th floor.
Dress code is casual. Most people are in work attire.
We can accommodate special plates if in advance. This is a plated lunch.
Attendees are encouraged to submit names of their party. We will have name tags printed in advance.
The coat check is located on the first floor of the Club just past the hotel check-in desk.
